Nestled in the lush Nature Reserve region of Sassafras Ridge, and surrounded by groves of flowering mountain laurels, wild orange azaleas and roaring streams, IBIS Retreat is an idyllic place for relaxation, workshops and retreats. Located next to the Harriet Tubman Nature Reserve and only a five minute walk to Lake Nia, IBIS offers retreats for those who are seeking a renewal of health ... physical, spiritual, mental and emotional.

 

An octagon with a wrap a round deck, IBIS has a design that is open, flows and functional. The main level features a central sunken conversation pit with fireplace, a large great room, kitchen, three bedrooms and two baths. The daylight lower level, now available for rentals, has three bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen, library, a living room and an outdoor Patio.

Massage Theraphy and structructed Excercize, Yoga,  and Workouts can be scheduled... Including Zumba!!!

 

                                                                                            

 

IBIS is designed to host retreats for small to mid-size groups of up to twenty-five people. Other homes and facilities can be used to accomodate larger groups. With our warm, bed and breakfast atmosphere and reasonable rental rates, IBIS is also the perfect place for family, couples or individual escapes!

Retreats sponsored or hosted by IBIS include nature walks, delicious healthy food, massages, meditation, music/socials, tai chi, yoga and lectures by guest speakers and experts.
