Mansas Juque Joint on Marcus Garvey Drive is an entertainment and multi-purpose center for visitors and landowners at Sassafras Ridge Mountain Retreat. In addition to sponsoring and hosting cultural, health, business, social and youth events, we produce and plan to broadcast live performing arts... from reggae, jazz, R&B, and gospel music to poetry, dance, karaoke and theatre. We are the center of activity on the mountain!
Delicious international cuisine, including Caribbean, vegetarian and southern, is served with a wide variety of beverages. The main gathering room featuring 22 foot vaulted ceilings and the large wrap-around deck can easily accommodate up to 120 persons for events and receptions.
“The Juque Joint is an ideal central location at Sassafras for your events... from business, organization meetings and staff retreats to your family and personal celebrations,” states Juque Joint President Mansa Parker. “We can prepare your meals or you can use your own caterer.”
